Some questions from the open interview with @EricRies

Alex's question in relation to choosing a business model as your starting point: "You can test that what your doing is right, but how can that inform you if you're testing the right thing?"  Eric responds: "I have never once gotten an entrepreneur to abandon their idea through showing them that their business model is an incoherent mess. What we should do is help people realise what they're doing isn't working, to give them the motivation to find something better."  

It was shame this was right at the end of our time, since I'd like to explore this.  I used the business model canvas to help me spot that I was on a dead end, before my tests and customer interviews did.  I'll tell that story at Rob's founders' exchange event tomorrow: http://founderexchange.eventbr... and we'll record it.
